This class is an easy A. You have maybe 4 assignments that require little to no effort. He'd like you to be at every class, but half the time he doesn't remember your name so it doesn't matter if you go. The midterm and final are designed by the school and since you don't learn anything in the class you have to study the book on your own time.

He is a stickler for attendance. Always tries to make the class interesting and getting us involved. class was 3 hrs on a saturday but he tried to get us out early and group prj's could meet during class time. Fairly easy so far, not a bad choice

Barely do anything in the class which makes things easy. He's very reasonable when it comes to grading but the fact that his class is very easy makes it difficult to get all the info you need for the midterm and final. While other teachers give you detailed study guides, he gives you a vague review that won't help at all.

I think Prof Payne is one of the greatest professors ever...He is very understanding and if you talk to him he most willing to help...i would recommend him not for an easy A but to actually learn something from him, he has a great personality. Perfect Com professor and VERYYYYY HELPFULL!!!
