Dr. Daly is beyond incredibly smart. However, she has a very tough time translating her level of intelligence down to a freshman physics class level. Her lectures are often hard to follow and make little sense sometimes. Get ready to work on your own to completely understand the material. If you do that, you'll do fine, but avoid her if you can.

Terrible teacher. Super smart woman, don't get me wrong, she's very intelligent but she is the worst teacher i have ever had. Started the course with 60+ students, ended with single digits.

If you want to be in trouble or you really like getting accused of cheating then you should take her. She is a good professor but she wants you to know that she is superior to anyone around her. Her tests are confusing. Never take her.

SHE IS ONE OF THE WORST TEACHERS I HAVE EVER HAD AT PENN STATE BERKS. She makes the students WRITE the tests. It is more like an english class than a astronomy class. You learn nothing in the class because all you do is memorize the test answers. May be easy class, but you will not understand a thing. She is also rude to her students as well!

What can I say? This class is not easy. Dr Daly lectures and covers the essentials only. So you need to do a little on your own. She's fair and understanding. Willing to help in office hours. The only con is that sometimes she assumes that you understand the concepts as well as her. In all, I don't regret taking this class with her.

clear explanations in class, but puts herself on a high level, makes students w/ questions feel stupid. can be moody. Appears happy when the class average on a test is low; made the final on the last day possible & smiled when the class groaned about it. Answers lab questions by asking if you read the instructions. No daly, i didn't. *eye roll*

She was terrible. Her notes were copyrighted so she would not put them up on ANGEL and would fly thrrough them in class. On the first day of class, she told us if we had any questions to call the textbook company. All assignments and tests come from a website; it should just be an online course. She is very condescending and rude to students.

Daly doesn't respect her students and she can't even teach.Avoid this class if at all possible.She will talk above you to show her superiority,and loves to rub in her degrees in you face.If you go for help she wont remember you the next day.If she does your lucky. This is the best teacher in the world!!! Not only is she brilliant in her field she is also patient and great at conveying concepts way beyond any mere mortals understanding. Just speak up in class and go to her office hours and this can be the most rewarding class you have ever taken!

Everything about this woman cracks me up. Her favorite pair of pants are these bright-purple- clinging at the bottom-baggy at the top pants.Has long silky hair. Love it when she tries to demonstrate rotational inertia by twirling extremely slowly with her arms stretched out.
