She expects you to know everything. She just write notes in class and does not teach. She does not tell you everything that will be on a test. She makes class difficult. You basically have to teach yourself. She does curve grades and that's only because I believe shes aware shes a horrible teacher.

She does not teach the material for the course, only goes over the end of chapter material daily. Does not answer questions clearly. Accounting is a very difficult course, do not take her even if you are an accounting major. She gives three tests during the semester and one homework assignment on WileyPlus per chapter covered.

Do not take class w/ her unless you need the credit. Took her summer class- gave Wiley HW, excessive classwork, tests somewhat based off HW but were worded poorly. Unsympathetic, no extra credit. Expects you to know too much. She taught us 2 chapters the day before our final and put them on the exam. AWFUL! Get ready to teach yourself. :(

She expects that you read the chapter before class and assumes that you will already know the material she's teaching. Why teach it at all then????? Also her "book" knowledge is great but she lacks in the practical knowledge and can not fully explain how the material is applied to real life.

Please do yourself a favor and do not take this professor! She's nice but accounting is hard and she does not make it any easier. Her notes are diffcult to understand and so the textbook. Her tests cover TOO much material because there is a lot to remember and she does not clarify much in class. If you take her, plan on teaching yourself!

DR.RYAN IS THE BEST. SHE IS EASY AND READY TO EXPLAIN UNTIL YOU UNDERSTAND THE WORK. ABOVE ALL YOU HAVE TO LIKE ACCOUNTING IN ORDER TO LIKE THE CLASS. HER TESTS ARE LITTLE TRICKY BUT NOT HARD. THEY COME FROM THE CLASS WORKS.RECOMENDED.

DR.Ryan is a very good professor. I don't know what these other students are saying. Her tests are a little tricky but it is ACCOUNTING. If you attend class and do the work, you will be ok. She is there for help anytime. Above all, if she sees that you are interested in acct. she will help you even more. Recomended.

Go to the class. Pay attention. Most of all do what she says; read the chapter beforehand and try the problems at home. Very hard tests, a lot of material. Three tests means ALOT on each test in accounting. Four or five would suffice. She is nice if she sees you are trying. Accounting majors only for this one.
