She is my research professor and is one of the kindest people I have met at the College. She is always patient and willing to explain concepts, and even let me join her lab mid-semester. I'm not sure how she is as a lecturer (I've never had her) but I would highly recommend joining her lab if you are interested in biophysics or fish morphology.

Professor Sanderson is very kind, passionate, and sociable. She's really easy to talk to and access outside of the classroom. She's always willing to make time to see you if you need extra help or advice. Her classes are about medium difficulty for the bio department. The seminar I took had mandatory attendance.

One of the worst bio professors I have had so far. Boring with a annoying personality.

Terrible professor- not clear about what she wants you to know. Her class is boring and she doesn't present the material well.

This class was pretty easy. You don't have to read the book, and her notes (which she doesn't post on blackboard, so go to class!) are all you need to study.

Lectures could be boring. She has some mousy personality traits that just did not jibe well with me. I stopped going to lecture around midterm. Tests were difficult not impossible. Did poorly on the first one - finished the course withan A-. Good curve, class must have been brimming with dum-dums.

A good lecturer who can actually make a very boring topic bearable at 9 AM Monday morning. She's willing to help if you ask, and her tests are hard, but extremely fair and consistent - no surprises. Given the choices for large lectures in the bio department, Zoology with Sanderson is near the top.

I could be pretty upbeat before the 9am but then as soon as I got in the lecture hall with the lights dimmed and all her stupid overheads, it was impossible to not fall asleep. She is so boring, unhelpful when you go see her in office hours and her tests are insane. She wears these huge necklaces.

I really liked Dr. Sanderson. Her lectures weren't boring (usually interesting) and the material not too hard. Though the tests tended to be a little on the tough side.

Dr. Sanderson is the most willing to help professor that I've had in this department. She makes everything positive and never makes you feel like you're an inch tall. I think she does better with small classes, though. She's very personable one on one.

I took Sanderson for both Zoology and Vertebrate Biology, and I don't know where people are getting their comments from. For Zoology, she passed out handouts that have everythign that you need to know on them, or blank spaces where she writes in what you

People that trash Sanderson also are the ones that messed up on her exams (which ARE hard) If you study you'll do fine. Her lectures are straightforward...how exciting can you make zoology at 9AM people?!?!
