I gave her a 5 because I really liked her optimism. She loved reading Stephen King and had good explanations to novels we read. The one thing about this class was it was a lot of work, but the same amount as English 101. I was able to use the same skills to 101 and write good papers! She does give good feedback and will prepare u for 101!

She's a good woman and very passionate about English, but is way too passionate and thinks everyone wants to be an English major. She gives out a lot of homework as well as journals. If this is the only class you are taking then you should be good, if your a full time student take another teacher with less work.

Prof Lynch is a sweet lady, and I would love to talk to her about her beliefs over tea, BUT as a professor she's a bit much. I would only recommend taking her if you aren't taking other important classes, and are okay with excessive amounts of writing. She gives a lot of busy work, and throws a 7+ pg paper at you at the end of the semester.

Ended the class with a B only because her final is confusing. Lectures seem 3 hours long when really they're only an hour and 20 minutes. She's nice and all but a tought grader on essays. Not a horrible teacher but does need to make herself more clear on expectations.

Professor Lynch is an amazing professor. Took me awhile to get used to the accent and workload (2+ pg journals per class), but now I love it. I'd definitely recommend her to English majors (or any thinkers) that want to learn, become better at writing, and be really engaged in interesting, thought provoking learning and discussions. Easy quizzes.

Easy teacher if you do the work and know how to right a simple essay. Follow directions and the class is easy. Got the highest grade out of the class and didn't sweat it too much.

Professor Lynch is a very good teacher. Some days her accent was fine, but other days it got annoying. Her class work is very helpful and is not hard at all. She is very particular on who comes to class and who does not. She always takes roll. She is very sweet and kind and I would recommend her to anyone.

She's awesome! She's really excited to be in class everyday and loves what she teaches. Her accent is one you'll grow to love. Lots of group work and easy points here and there. I learned more than I could have imagined. Take her and you won't regret it!

She is amazing. She came to class really excited every day and was always eager to teach us about the world. Her German accent seems a bit hard to understand at first, but you'll grow to love it. Lots of group work, lots of easy points here and there. I learned more than I could have ever imagined. Take her!

Professor Lynch is so nice! She really encourages everyone to do well in her class. The work is a little much at times but the prompts she gives are easy to write about and you can write about almost anything you want. So the work really doesn't seem like too much. Take her if you can!

Professor Lynch is very kind. She has an accent which is easy to get used to, but you can tell she's really in love with her teaching subject (obviously). Just do all the work and journals, and she'll pass you

Nice lady, easy class, she knows a lot about English. The class is boring, though. I didn't look forward to it. Not too interesting. Easy to get an A though, and not a bad class, just not excellent! Okay teacher, not a bad class.

The class is pretty easy. She only gives 3 essays which are 3 pages each. There are no quizzes or tests. The final is a revision of your first essay and some free response questions about readings. Overall an easy class, but she can be very annoying at times. She also makes you work in groups ALOT and assigns busy work.

I was super excited about this class.Everything was good until she graded essays. They were all great papers and she just wanted something else. I felt she wanted a certain something out of my paper that would of came from her mind instead of mine. One nice plus is she was very accommodating to making sure you can turn in papers before the due date

I WOULD NOT TAKE HER CLASS!!!!! She is hard to understand and VERY UNFAIR IN GRADING!! If your not her favorite she grades you down on everything. She says one thing and does another. If you have her class get out fast! I got a good grade in her class but she tryed very hard to make sure I didn't!!!

Definitely would NOT recommend taking this class with this professor. She's nice enough, but she almost seems to favor certain students over others. She didn't seem to know what she wanted with her essays. Every time I would hand one in, she would hand it back saying I didn't follow the guidlines when, in fact, I did, to a tee.

Very easy teacher! There were only 3 essays and they were 3 pages minimum with 2 body paragraphs. Only had to read one book to choose from, and the book was very interesting (The Cellist of Sarajevo). I got an A in the class. There was work, but they were extremely easy.

If you want to learn how to write better papers don't take her. Her class consisted of a bunch of busy work that led no where. Class is mandatory or else you lose points. There were 4 essays and 10 quizzes. I would not recommend her to a friend.

Easy class and very easy test. They're all 10 questions and final is 20. Super nice soft spoken professor. Only thing I hated is she tortured us since I took the early class at 6:30am and she showed us like 3 movies which we watched for 2 days each. Made me want to fall asleep ahhh. But a very good professor!
