Skinner is the MAN!! Atleast a 10 point curve on every quiz test, but don't think its just free points, its because a lot of people fail. he's a great teacher but you NEED TO READ THE BOOK!! Unless econ comes easy for you you'll have to work hard but it is possible to get an A. Attend class.. i feel bad when people leave. Great guy & wants to help!

If you don't hear really well, I suggest you to sit in the front row, b/c his voice is very low. He is a great teacher and he explains very well. He is a nice guy and extremely approachable. He is always willing to help you with studying. Do the study guide, you won't regret!

Skinner is the best professor at WCSU. He takes the material and really breaks it down for you. He'll sit down with you outside of class until you really understand. Gives you study guides for the quizes - take this man if you want to pass anything ECO-related.

Skinner is awesome, a very nice man and always willing to help you understand the material...i haven't had any of the other Eco teachers, but i highly recommend SKINNER!!!!! He is the MAN! A lot of chapter quizzes, but it helps a lot for the midterm and final!!! :)

Skinner's the man! He can be funny at times. He is extremely helpful. The curve is huge. However, he is monotone and quiet, so it can be hard to follow in class. But, as long as you study your book and you take as good of notes as you can, you'll ace.

THIS GUY IS SIMPLY THE BEST IN THE ECONOMICS DEPARTMENT, HE'S ALSO INCREDIBLY HELPFUL, INSIGHTFUL AS AN ADVISOR. OVERALL HE'S VERY TALENTED AS A TEACHER AND IS DEFINITELY SOMEONE, WHO COULD BE YOUR MENTOR. HE MIGHT SEEM AS ANALYICAL AS SOME OF THE OTHER ECONOMICS PROFESSORS, BUT IS DEFINITELY A PROBLEM SOLVER. A really nice guy and overall a great professor if you take advantage of the opportunities he'll give you. His lectures are very quiet and hard to follow sometimes, but he will gladly help you out of class, is easy to reach, makes extra credit readily available, and grades on a curve.

(Cont) One's testing ability is based on short term memory. And while tests are required in each class, strictly basing a grade on testing is not a good way of learning long-term. He should give out cases to do, reports to complete, prehaps even team discussions to look at today's economic situation. Teachers who do that, give the best learning exp

Overall, Mr. Skinner is a nice guy. He tries hard and tries to give his students every chance of succeeding in his class because as we know economics can be quite hard, understanding the concept. I recommend taking him, I just wish he wouldn't base his grading just STRICTLY on one's ability to test.

Skinner is one of the finer professors in Ancell. He gives his students every oppertunity to succeed in his class. Along with curving every test and quiz, he assigns extra credit which can add 5pts to your total grade. You do not have to show up to class at all besides test days. Take Skinner for Micro- dont take anyone else
