Love this Professor. Not enough people give him credit for how good he is. He really just wants you to succeed but you have to do some work, he won't just give it to you. If you really want to know and understand the topic, take a class with him. I wish I could take more with him.

Saif Rahman is a lousy professor. DO NOT take him, unless you want to be miserable for a whole semester. He does not care about the grades his students receive and professes to you that grades shouldn't matter, enabling him to give every student a C without hesitation. Want an A? Good luck. Want to learn anything? Good luck.

I had a fair experience with Rahman. His lectures can be lengthy and a little off topic, but for my class he really seemed to care about us learning and offered extra help multiple times. Does get a little off topic, if you are willing to learn and stay engaged, you can do fine.

Course material is rushed/not covered/extremely muddled and confusing due to extensive tangents. Professor places students on edge, regularly and publicly humiliating students he dislikes and falsely accusing students of misconduct and intentional poor performance. Administers blatantly preferential treatment and arbitrary grading practices.

My advisor warned me about professor Rahman. He often makes students feel uncomfortable when it comes to participating in class. His teaching is particularly unhelpful and he is more favorable to students who have excel in the class. I have had teachers who are hard but at least they cared and were concerned . As Rahman, he could care.

If you can do a little bit of algebra do you homework, and read the assigned readings, you should get an A. Rahman really isn't that hard, unless you never show up to class nor do assignments. Memorizing is useless and not the point, the point is to learn and apply. Great Prof

Prof. Rahman is an extremely terrible professor. He repeats the content several times making it difficult for students to understand. He takes over an hour and a half long to explain one simple handout assignment. He enjoys humiliating students in class and often grades based on his personal preferences. He never replies to emails.

I was supposed to get a letter A grade on his primary scale, but he had to throw an extra project one week before finals and since many people were getting A's he had to force a curved scale. So I ended up getting a B, never replied to my emails, and posts exam guides 8 hours before the actual exam. Lousy professor.

Dr. Rahman is a very intelligent man. Unfortunately that means he can make you feel very dumb for asking questions. He is very good at humiliating people in class. Dr. Rahman showed up to class on time or slightly late and class ran over by about 5 mins. Do not take a class after his unless you are in the same building or you'll be late

I took almost all of Prof. Rahman's classes when I was at OWU and I also worked on my senior thesis with him. He is extremely helpful and a very nice person. You have to be attentive and take him seriously, though. Overall, he is the reason I became an economist myself.

Interesting class material, but horrible professor. He answers questions with lengthy pointless explanations and stupid examples that don't help at all, never posts notes or assignments on time, and only likes students who already understand the material or go in for help all the time. Boring, immature, lazy professor

Dr. Rahman is an awful professor. Though I did well, I didn't feel like I understood anything. He seems to enjoy making students feel stupid, picking favorites early on and not giving anyone else a chance. It's not impossible to do well in his classes if you memorize things that he puts on the board, but definitely not a teacher I would recommend.

C'mon, he's not that bad unless you're lazy and don't keep up with the readings. Rahman knows how to communicate the material and is generally fair except for the fact that he apparently doesn't like responding to emails.
