Sal is one of my favorite professors, as far as going to class, but outside of class, be prepared to write unnecessary essays, and do a lot of preparation for the tests. Fun class but if you aren't a history person I don't recommend his class. He knows his stuff, but he rarely dumbs it down enough to be understood by non-historians.

His is one of the, if not the best Professor I ever had. He prepared the students for further college education not only for History but college in general. His is a very fair and outgoing professor. He has an open door for those students that are participating but need some assistance..

Great teacher, but be prepared to do a lot of reading and writing for his online class. My only appointment was is lack of response. I would email him to ask a question and rarely get a response. I do understand he teaches at the main campus, online, and at Fort Bragg, so he is busy; however, with today's gadgets there is no excuses.

My absolute favorite professor! Easy class, easy homework, but really informative. He's engaging and funny and he makes the material really come alive. He's really willing to help you too if you ask for it and his classes always start off with him playing a song related to what you're learning about that day. Coolest professor ever!

He is awsome! He makes work for every grade but he is a lot of fun. You go into class with modern music that has something to do with that days subject followed by an entertaining lesson. His homework is usually watch a youtube video and write a 500 word essay. He is a great teacher!!!

One of the best professors, class was always interesting and funny. You have to work for a good grade but he makes history fascinating so you'll want to do well. Exams were in the form of in class essays but you had plenty of time to prepare. Very helpful teacher and willing to give advice. Overall probably the most interesting history class ever.

Great professor, about 5 grades for the semester. 3 tests. The tests are matching and essay. But he gives you the essay topic a week in advance. Classes are fun, just group discussion and talking history. TAKE HIS CLASS!

Sal is the best professor. Spell his name right and you are good to go. He tells you what he wants and what you need to know. Then man is brilliant too. He is probably smarter than Ken Jennings that was on Jeapardy last year.
