Comment:
Boring. He comes to class unprepared. He grades his test wrong. He tends to go off on random lectures that are not related to class. A great director! A great workshop teacher. He needs work on his classroom work.

VERY good teacher. In his class sometimes people say "How is this even going to help me?" and then you reach the end of the semester and you realize that you actually learned so much and everything connects. He's also very funny and a nice guy! I definitely enjoyed his class.

Long lectures and no lesson plans. Fun class and good guy, but looking back I'm not sure what I actually learned from him.

Comment:
Has a tendency to ramble about his own experiences in "the business" and will treat all students as if they want to pursue Acting as a career (expects you to produce a headshot/resume). Can be extremely condescending about the intelligence of cultural stimulation of Connecticut residents. Expect mandatory Yoga, Jogging, and talk about "New York"

Such a nice guy, very funny and makes the class very interactive and interesting. Easy to get an A, just do you work and make a few comments here and there.

Comment:
This class is easy if you agree with everything he says. For example, if you think that the spine of a story is different from what he thinks he'll make you re-write it until it's basically what he wrote. You will never be as good as him so don't even try. He's really moody but hey I got an A so I really can't complain.

I loved every class I took with him! But be prepared and do NOT be late for class. You can only get out of his classes what you put in, so do your best and you will do great.

What a wonderful professor. Really knows his stuff and is so helpful and understanding, and the classes are so, so interesting. Workload heavy, but if you do work and show interest you can receive a good grade.

Sal is the man, i love the guy. Extremely helpful espcially if you show an interest and respect for him, the art, and the other students. Very encouraging and knowledgable. Semi-heavy workload so be prepared but if you can do that you can pass the class

Fake nice and work hard and you'll get somewhere. He's an ultra diva but has lots of experience in the business to glean off of. Hate morning papers (diary kept in all his classes.)

Very nice guy. Almost too easy though. If you want an A and want to actually do some work...take a class with Sal.
