Marino is a great guy. He's a typical old kook. His classes are long because he lectures the entire time! I suggest studying the book THOROGHLY before tests because they are solely based of off it.

Awful. Dreadful. Boring. I'd rather have put a bullet in my brain than listen to him drone on forever, which he will do the whole allotted class time. Could easily get through the material in half the time but loves to hear his own voice. Class itself isn't hard....sitting through it is.

He knows everything and assumes you know nothing, and will talk down to you accordingly. Class time is spent with students doing projects in which they cover the material he is too lazy to do himself. Poke holes in his theories or disagree with him, and it will crush his world. Unless you want to hate English, avoid him at all costs. Sooo annoying.

Very informative class. Straightforward presentation and grading. Very long tests, but easy if you pay attention to lecture and read a little. Greatest benefit, no public speaking! All of the other Psych profs make you do a presentation of some kind. So if you are looking to avoid such things...

This guy is a really great professor. I actually looked forward to going to his class even though it's just a core class that I have to take. He does a really great job explaining abstract concepts and his tests are very easy to do well on if you study. I highly recommend you take this professor.

I think he was an awesome teacher. He was clear, knew what he was talking about, required little, and did not have hard exams. If you study the book, you will do fine. And yes, he did talk about SEX all the time! He was a cute little man, though.

He sounded like Winnie the Pooh. But other than that, he was a good teacher. I didn't like Psychology, but he as a teacher was interesting.
