Comment:

The worst teacher I have ever encountered in my life. She constantly put me down in front of class, and in meetings. She literally laughed at me when I told her my major and said "Good luck with that". Irrational, cranky, and old. I will die a million deaths before having her as a teacher again.

As long as you can adjust to her teaching style then you'll be fine. She assigns a lot of work, but it is all very easy. If you follow her directions and participate in class and are not rude she will respect you and help you as much as she can and that's really all there is to it. Just follow along in her class and you can't fail.

Dr. LeVan is one of the best English professors I have had. Yeah she makes you work hard, but thanks to that I can write college papers. She will notice if you make an effort to succeed in her class and help you out.

She is absolutely irrational and degrades you. I was a straight A student and always loved writing until she belittled me and I ended up with a D in her class. I had her for critical analysis and composition and do not recommend her for any English class. Avoid taking a class by her by all means.

Horrible teacher. She sits there complaining about how we don't do things right when she cant even explain what she wants you do exactly what she says and your still wrong. All my classes suffer because she thinks shes the only class we take. Just awful avoid her at all cost

The best teacher I have ever had in my life! I have taken 3 of her classes. She cares about her students and their education. She's known for tough classes and some think she's mean. I couldn't disagree more! She gives you directions, outlines, and makes time to meet with students. She makes you a better student and better prepared for real life!

She is a very tough teacher. Asking her for help is probably the best thing you can do. she is a very hard teacher but she is not horrible. As long as you do what she says you will do fine in her class. Its hard to figure out her grading but in the end taking her class will help so much

I LOVE SALLY. She is a tough grader but is only tough on you because you know you can do better. If you are concerned with your grade then you can schedule a meeting with her to talk over your paper to see what you did wrong. She may even let you rewrite it to get a better score. You have to be willing to put the effort in. She is the best!

Do NOT take her if you value your GPA or your sanity. She teaches every class like it's Structures and grades papers unfairly. I'm an A student and thought I was going to fail her class. She is demeaning, intimidating, gives terrible feedback, and acts as though she is on a pedestal because she's the teacher and you're the menial student.

what a mean lady. she could be nice to you one second, and snap the next. do not take her. i regret taking her this semester. she didn't grade papers fairly and had "hidden" items in her syllabus. she told me with one week left in her class that i needed to write a reflection on every chapter of every book i read. WE READ LIKE 5 BOOKS. avoid her.
