His lectures are long and boring. The only thing that got me through that class was that he liked to talk about his past experiences of being in the field. He is very passionate about Criminal Justice and is very helpful. Any time I have a question his office is always the first I go to. He is super friendly and always willing to help.

Best professor ever. Cares about his material and is very knowledgeable. incredibly friendly, willing to go extra mile to help you. Has tendency to teach straight from PP but is informative and slips in his own information. Tests are upfront and easy if you study.

Very accomplished professor. Great source of knowledge and assistance for students. Easy to follow. No surprises. His exams are on what he tells you they are on. Structure of class is easy to follow and is a great teacher for students with or without previous criminal justice experience. I would recommend him for any class he teaches.

I love professor Dameron. He's probably the best professor I've had so far(though I'm only a freshie). When he explains his powerpoints he is very detailed and slips in some humor in at least every point. He is very down to earth and you can tell that teaching Criminal Justice is his passion. Seriously amazing professor. He'll drop your lowest exam grade, he's hilarious, he's clear in the material, and he's such an interesting person to talk to. Tells greats stories and really loves his job. Take this man if you want a fun class while actually learning.

I didn't really enjoy Dr. Damron. I thought his lectures were uninteresting as he reads directly from the slides which are also available on MUOnline. His exams are pretty easy so long as you complete the study guide. I probably would not take him again due to the fact that the majority of the time I was bored to tears.

Easy, easy class. Has slides for lectures posted online. Also posts study guides. Do the study guide before the test, and you're sure to pass. Dr. Dameron is awesome! He thoroughly covers all the material in class if you choose to attend lectures, and adds his own anecdotes to keep it interesting. He can get off track sometimes, though.

He is a really good teacher but his tests are completely fill in the blank. They are not hard as long as you read over the chapters and know the terms and items from the study guides he gives to you. It is a great class and i enjoy it. He has a lot of fun stories and is very enthusiastic about teaching. I would recommend this class.
