The books are expensive but for us to read at home. I didn't go to class for him to read it to me. I wanted real world knowledge and tangible experience, and that is what he provides. He uses personal stories to prepare his students for the real world. To judge him becuz of age is foolish. Recognize his intent and GO TO CLASS. Great man. He cares.

Anyone can read a book. What we are gaining is his real world knowledge. Volunteer with him and make the effort. This man is brilliant and compassionate which is what you need to work with children. People who say negative things are closed minded. A robot can read the book to us, but he shares personal experience to help us . He's a great teacher

cute old man! he is really nice and gives extra credit for going to class. tests are really long but not too hard if you read the book and notes. There are some test questions on stories told in class which is really annoying so it helps to go to class

He's a sweet old man..... he does go off on MANY tangents and honestly... his material isn't reflected on tests very clearly. His teacher aid Linda is a hoot... AND HE LET'S YOU CHOOSE YOUR GRADE. How is that hard, folks? He's knowledgable but hard to follow and very boring.

This class is easy only if you do what is told to do on the syllabus. Another thing, if you want to get an A, you have to earn it. Must attend class, listen to his examples on situation b/c it will be on the exam, read the textbook because a lot of the questions on the exams comes from the textbook. Not a hard class, he gives lots of extra credit.

He seems like a really nice guy. His class is sometimes difficult to understand because he's hard to hear/ understand. If you read the book and go to class there is no reason not to get an A. I overall really enjoyed this class and really learned a lot. Lots of Extra Credit

If you have any interest in actually LEARNING anything AVOID this prof. Grades MUST be random, most will get an A as long as you've gone to class BUT it seems he must RANDOMLY assign Bs and Cs. Kinda 'odd' but he's a nice enough guy...needs to stop teaching. I wanted my money back!
