Lectures are fascinating and easy to follow. I have taken him every semester at Ramapo College and I plan to continue to take his classes. Mustafa's voice is so soothing, I 100% recommend taking one of his classes.

Mustafa is the best professor I've had--I went out of my way to take him again for World Civ 2. No weekly quizzes or pop quizzes, everything is on syllabus, he does not use a textbook. However, you need to listen to him as he does not write anything on the slides. It makes you listen, though, so you remember everything while writing it down.

Professor Mustafa was possibly the best professor I had this semester. I am not much of a history fanatic (especially not early world civilizations), but he made the class extremely interesting an engaging. 8 discussions throughout the semester which you must participate in and 3 online quizzes which are not hard as long as you take good notes.

One of the best professors I've ever had. Lecture style, but at the same time teaches like he's having a conversation with you. Content is interesting and lectures are enjoyable. Would definitely recommend.

Mustafa is one of the best professors I've ever had. I learn the most from him and am eager to take more classes with him as he is knowledgeable, eager about the subject and his lectures are not boring, they are full of information that you sort of have to pay attention to.

Dr. Mustafa is a real gem. I am not a history lover, but he made me love history. His lectures are fascinating and class discussions were respectful. He gives out four online quizzes, but they are easy if you take the initiative to go to the extra help sessions.

Love and hate relationship with Mustafa. The guy is really smart, funny and interesting. Definitely makes the class more interesting. Participation matters- you literally sit in a circle and he marks you down if you talk enough and grades you at end. His word is final. One large paper broken into 3 parts. Not too bad for a 300 level.

This guy is by far the smartest professor Ive had at Ramapo. He loves teaching and he knows his stuff. The class consisted of 4 quizzes a paper at the end of the semester and participation in group discussion. He lectures with some pictures but makes lecture interesting each class usually consists of 6-7 pages of notes which you use to study for.

Age of Napoleon course. He wants the final paper EXACTLY as he says. You work on the paper in parts throughout the semester. If it seems as if you plagiarized he WILL confront you about it so make sure you do everything right if you don't want to fail since it's a big part of the grade or if you don't want to get in huge trouble.

I don't think Mustafa is a bad professor, but I walked into this class expecting something different. His lecture style is him talking and you writing with some pictures and the occasional video clip on a Powerpoint. He loves discussions so you have to read/talk a lot, and the quizzes are tough. But he knows his stuff and cares about the subject

I took this class in my first year at this school, actually this was my first class i ever took at this school, and i would take it again if i had the opportunity to. It was such a great class. The content was a pleasure to learn, not like history classes in High School at all. Professor was a great. Highly recommend this class to anybody.

Not a history major but took one of his 300 classes and I certainly worked for my grade. I was never uninterested during his lectures. Participation is huge for him. No exams but a long research paper and class discussions. He's a really cool guy but definitely a tough grader on everything. I would take him again in a heartbeat I learned so much

Honestly... This class was great. I loved Professor Mustafa. I learned so much in just one semester. If you don't do well on quizzes it's your own fault. 3 map quizzes with 10 places you need to locate. 3 online lecture quizzes.. If u take decent notes you'll be fine. No midterm. The final is an essay got a 90 easy class, yet interesting. must take

Dr. Mustafa is 100% hands down one of the best history professors at this college. I am currently taking his World Civilizations class and I am passing by flying colors. He is a kind man and he will help, IF you ask for it but he also has a student assistant who will be there to help you also. HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!!! AMAZING PROFESSOR!!!

Mustafa is a great professor, he understands that the class is a gen-ed and doesn't go into too much detail. Pay attention in class and you will do well. Participate in the lectures and do the CEC and it's basically an automatic B+. I really enjoyed him and I would retake him if I could. DO NOT BUY THE TEXTBOOK!

Greatest professor I have ever had, hardest professor I have ever had. You learn so much, but his higher level courses are tough (we started with 19 kids in our seminar class, we are left with 9 by the end). He expects A LOT, but worth the pain in my opinion. If you want to cruise through it, take Pinaar, if you want to learn and work hard, Mustafa
