Dr. Shelton is good teacher. You must stay on your P's and Q's. Lectures tend to be a little long and boring , but his handouts are the best. Keep your personal opinions to yourself, and try to be neutral around him. Attend class and try to participate when necessary in his class.

He will do everything he can to assist you and make sure you succeed. I'm not a political science major, but I'm really glad I took his class!

Dr. Shelton has made me interested in politics. He is nice, helpful, and very smart. His tests are a little hard, but you get to correct them for half credit (except for the final). Hard work pays off. He prints off what he is currently teaching in class so you don't *have* to show up. I strongly advise to, however. Great teacher...I will miss him.

Dr. Shelton is wonderful. One of the best professors I have ever had. He interacts with students in class. Further, he truly cares about his students, which is always a major plus. He is not the easiest but then again, he doesn't make it impossibly difficult. Just study, come to class, and do the work, and you will be just fine. Highly recommended.

Might know poli sci but does NOT know law. I've been a paralegal for 12 years and his method of teaching is not the best for those not in law. He has you brief cases completely wrong. If I wasn't in the legal field, I never would have made an A.

Dr. Shelton is a great teacher! His lectures are really structured and his tests are exactly what he covers in class. He does not require attendence but gives up to 25 bonus points at the end of the semester depending on how many classes you have missed. He likes to do group projects, but is easy on grading! He is my favorite poli science teacher!

He's obviously very conservative, I"m kinda liberal but that doesnt make me biased in judging him. He is indeed a very helpful and interesting professor. My class was Honor American Government, so he made it a little tougher than usual, but you just need to study carefully, pay attention to the debate on the class, and you will be fine

Boring lectures, but how fun can ANG be? Everything in the notes is on the test, so you don't waste your time writing meaningless details. He has a strange sense of humor, but I think he is incredibly funny on occassion. Easy A or B as long as you go to class.
