He is the most awful professor I've ever had. He has a very thick accent. He writes in all short hand notation so if you don't understand something then your notes that you took in class are useless. He will not curve any grades even if the class average is below the student right. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS IF YOU HAVE A LIFE. trust me....

I have never had such a terrible professor in my college career so far. He has trouble with English and doesn't know how to answer the questions that students have. His office hours are pointless and the online homework is a joke. Do NOT take a class with this guy.

By far the worse teacher I have ever had at chico state. I had him for about 5 weeks and had to drop his class because he did not teach me anything at all. Homework took HOURS and I couldnt even see the right answer after, test are HARD. Last year he had 50 out of 66 students fail his class. DONT TAKE HIM. You will FAIL!!

Does not care if his students pass or fail. Only does exercises and never actually teaches anything. Changed his style of testing for the test before the final. Took attendance and only told us the class before the final that it wouldn't count in our grade. Combined final with another teacher testing on concepts we NEVER learned. Ever. Avoid him.

DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS. Insanely hard, doesn't answer questions clearly, teaches like he expects students to know it already. What he goes over in class is nothing like the homework, which is all online and you cant review what you got wrong after you submit so it's no help at all.

Doesn't schedule correctly. We started a new chapter and went straight to the cumulative comprehensive problem at the end. Had a quiz on it the next class. The day after that we went over easier problems of the chapter and had another quiz. One test average before the curve was a 33%. There is a huge miss connection between him and his students.

Acct is a hard but he does a great job explaining it to you.the hw is a joke,online and you can use the help me button to get numbers 100%. half the tests are online at home. no roll,but going to class helps.read the study guide that comes with the book! every test is a mirror image of your study guide book that comes with the textbook

Good professor that is willing to help. He tries to make the material easy to understand. He gives quizes that are easy points if you show up to class. Study guide for all the tests and he posts practice problems online. Difficult subject but he is very helpful in class and office hours.

This teacher is insanely hard. You MUST be there everyday or you will fall behind in his lectures and lose points on his quizes. The finals are extremely hard and unless you study for hours each week, you will not pass them. Does not curve either.

Really cool teacher that is willing to help you. It is a hard class so you have to be there but it goes by fast because you are learning the entire time. Nissan is always willing to help you understand and is very helpful during his office hours. Any other accounting classes i have to take i am taking with him.

To start off: Accounting is hard! But Samir is a great teacher. He will help you if you go into his office hours and he is an extremely nice guy. He tries to make things easy to learn for the class. His tests are pretty easy if you go to class and read the book. Also study from the questions he puts on his website. Great teacher!
