I only had him for an online class, and it seems like people like him when they take actual classes with him, but in my experience he was awful. He is unresponsive, does not give clear instructions, and has an attitude. Not to mention that he made us buy a textbook that he wrote.

Such a nice guy, he lectures off the top of his head but his notes are very scattered and all over the place. Writes everything on the board, occasional reviews on some of the chapters in the book he wrote and DO THE JOURNALS. I received a C but that was my own fault for not studying as much for his final. All tests and short answers.

Prof Quainoo was the best! DO THE JOURNALS! I'm telling you! I barely did anything and i got a B. I was supposed to have his class on TR which are 75 minute classes, he let us out like it was MWF which are 50 minute classes! Everyday of the semester! Those 25 minutes matter! But he was cool and cracked jokes every once in a while

I absolutely love him. He's incredibly intelligent and really makes his topics clear in class. You're never confused on what he's teaching because he always stays on tasks and uses relevant examples. Not to mention he's funny, laid back, and it's overall a really easy class.

Honestly the worst instructor I've had so far. His directions and lectures are never organized and are vague. Trying to get help from him is difficult, as he either delays you, or passes you off to his TAs. He uses his own publication, which isn't even relevant to the coursework at all. Would not recommend taking him. Find a professor who cares.

If you're like me, and need someone more hands-on, avoid Quainoo like the plague. Getting in contact with him outside of class is an impossibility and usually gets passed to his TA. He gives very little grading criteria, so expect to play guesswork at what you have to do for his class. His lectures are also painfully boring.

S. Quainoo is the greatest political science teacher ever. His lecture for online are no more than 15 slide of detailed information that will be on your written final. He is very easy going but don't take advantage of him. your semester online is very simple. JUST DO IT YOU WONT REGRET IT! I barely did anything and got a B

Dr. Quianoo is one of the most entertaining professors I've ever had! His knowledge is combined with a great sense of humor. He is very sensible and friendly. I was really hesitant to take PolSci class, but it turned out to be very worthwhile and enjoyable.

This is one of the best Professors on campus.he knows his stuff, lectures without notes or textbook. A little more work than usual with annoying journal assignments but I learnt a lot from him. Will take him again easily.

His class is strictly lecture and he is hard to understand because of his accent. All short answer and essay for his tests, nothing else. Answer the questions at the end of each chapter because they are similar to the essay questions. He does not go over the book in class, ever. He is very WORD specific, so write everything down and memorize it.

This guy is not my type of professor. If you miss 3 classes you are doomed to fail. His tests are difficult and if you don't like lecture classes DO NOT TAKE the class! His accent takes time to get use to and he did not help me at all when I asked for it. His tests are strictly short answer (he calls them multiple choice) and one 3 paragraph essay.

Why wouldnt you like Quainoo this man is the best..if you show respect u will get it..In all honesty if u dont pay attention his test can be hard but if he sees u trying he will help you. he never keeps you longer than he needs to and he is very fun..i am taking him again.
