This class will prepare you for "Tonight's dinner party" ;) The class was really interesting, lectures helpful and she gives out study guides for the test that are super similar to the actual test. I actually started attending concerts after this class... Take her! :)

These Flute Lessons are supposed to be challenging to improve your tone, musicality, and technique as a musician. People judge unfairly, honestly Sandy is an amazing teacher who loves teaching and is good at it. Obviously she has to be hard on you if she sees no improvement. Especially Performance Majors. I LOVE SANDY! She's AWESOME!!

Sandy is very demanding person, and she wants you to do what she expects. She always emphasizes dynamics, that's all! She doesn't explain everything clearly. If you can't do well, she doesn't encourage you at all. and she can easily fails you. So, if you want to take private lesson, I suggest you to take David Shostac's lesson.

she has so much energy that she keeps you awake. sometimes her class can be boring but make sure to go to every class because she gives random pop quizzes that even a 5 yr old can pass. she grades very easy on the concert reports so get them out of your way early! tests are also fairly easy.

you really, literally dont have to open the book once and still pass. all you have to do are the study guides, because they basically are the test only reworded. the concerts have to be done, they are essential, you can skim through them before the test and be fine. nice lady

She's so cool. Personally I didn't think I'd enjoy the class, but it's pretty cool. For sum odd reason, even if the info we learn isn't interesting to me, I remember it...hmm...wish I could do that for bio! haha. review the study guides, complete ur concert reports and u'll do fine. :)

Greatest class ever. never have to pick up the book. She gives answers to some questions on the test. Easy A and Great for GE. You will have a blast she is funny and dose not put you to sleep. She makes Classical music fun. If you take her you wont be sorry.

U can do plashcards if U want to, but its not necessary to get an A. Go to all 3 concerts. Do them immediately and turn it in. Gives Study guide for the test. Just answer them and that's it EAsy A. Really COOL prof. Awesome, Thx KIPP. she has a good method of Teaching!
