The tests were beyond frustrating. The lectures were a scattered at times. I went to her for help, and she didn't clarify the material at all. However, whenever you start to feel as if you're not going to pass the class, remember that there's a lot of "buffer" points (from labs, a project) that can boost what are likely to be abysmal test grades.

She made class interesting and at times, difficult. If you're a bio major, she's a great teacher. If you're not, she might give you more details than you care to learn. One of my favorite profs, though.

One of the most frustrating courses I have taken at Furman. There was a tremendous amount of assigned reading, although we were never tested on it. Tests were extremely difficult, but other grades helped balance out your grade. Avoid her if you can.

Very helpful - but a complete scatterbrain. MOST RANDOM questions on tests - application questions, but she doesn't teach you how to apply... 5 question quizzes are killer! Tests are miserable. I loved science before this class. AVOID!

She knows how to test to make sure you understand the concepts. I even had trouble memorizing some of the facts, had low 70s on my first two tests, and ended up with a B in the class. She isn't always the most clear, but if you ask her to clarify, she will.

H phys was confusing at times but she is very helpful if you ask questions after class. Tests were sometimes not what was expected - more concepts than memorizing terms, lots of short answer. Labs always lasted 3 hours, but write-ups helped me figure out what happend. I feel like i learned a lot.
