This teacher is extremely rude. She does not like when you ask questions! (Even if her directions are not clear) I took her class online, it is pretty sad you can tell how hateful a person is over email. She did not have an updated version of the book required for the class so the assignment pgs were never right. STAY AWAY FROM SPELLER!

I had the pleasure of having Sandy Speller as one of my professors in the late 90's. She was very supportive, very engaged, and a pleasure to work with as a student. She may be tough, but she is making you BETTER than what you were when you began, that's her job. Too many are too easy now, one of the reasons we don't get the quality we used to!

AVOID HER AT ALL COSTS! She is very rude and talks down to students. Took her for an online course. She won't accept emails, only will talk via discussion boards. According to Cincy State she should be at the school 1/wk, she's there 2/term. Advice if you do take her, PRINT everything, syllabus, assignments & discussion boards. VERY HATEFUL WOMAN!

IF you read directions to assignments, they are easy. directions are very anal, she expects you to follow them to a T. test questions come straight from book. She only takes questions on DB cause she teaches 7 online classes,people are too stupid to put class they are referring to in email. if you have a question, re read the syllabus first.

This was an online class, and we had to take two tests a week. Yes, it was a lot, but you could easily get through a chapter in a day and a half. She is very strict when it comes to directions, but if you could have seen some of the questions people asked...they were stupid! Use common sense and you'll be fine! She's very nice.

Speller is terrible with communication When you do get a response it seems that she is talking at you and not to you. She seems to not enjoy her job by the way she encourages you to not reach out to her. I have never taken an online course where the professor will not clearly answer questions. DO NOT TAKE HER COURSE!!

I took the medical terminology online hybrid class and loved it. You can work at you own pace. There are 3 quizes a week (open book) and one test a week. Be prepared to use the book A LOT! There is a lot of reading, but if you study it than you should be fine. She posts make up tests and gives you the option to retake it if necessary.

Not clear on what she wants you do do, "just do it" when asked. Be prepared to not have anytime to yourself with work the work overload. $ quizzes and 1 exam every week, along with the weekly assignment that contains around 30 questions per page which runs into around 5-7 pages so you do the math!No time to work, kids, eat, sleep..Its all about HW

This woman is impossible to communicate with! She is demeaning towards students when you ask her a question - and Never! responds quickly. I took her for the online med term and I thought she was great. As long as you can read directions then you will do fine. She is very organized and has all the work at the start of the term so you can work ahead. She grades very quickly and that is a major plus for me. I would take her again.

Major Hard A**! But fair. If you spend some time everyday doing the work, you will have a chance to pass this class. Looks like she was burned by people who wanted an easy ride. She lays out what you need to do and when (and it's a lot) but no last minute crap, you know at the start. Now the with questions - she does get pissy if you don't read.
