It?s funny how all the comments are posted by those taking 100 level classes. Dr. Turner was my under grad advisor and yes she was a tough teacher, but that's what is necessary if you ever want to compete in the real world. Life's not spoon feed people...suck it up already...college is suppose to be tough.

terrible, terrible, terrible, I really enjoyed the lab and the projects that we did, but the class was AWFUL!!!! decided to not put powerpoints up on webpage, o wait she didnt have a webpage, Talked to fast, notes were irrelavent, AWFUL tests, expected you to know way too many details, DO NOT TAKE HER...left for a week and didnt tell anyone....

Dr. Turner can be harsh. She expects you to show up on time and if you don't she kicks you out. She is strict with her grading and doesn't take excuses. A lot of people b****ed about her, but I think they are lazy. She is only preparing you for your career where you still have to be on time and they won't accept excuses either

TERRIBLE! doesnt use powerpoints, doesnt have a web page for any help, leaves for a week and doesnt tell anyone, tests cover 300 pages each, test questions are irrelevant, she expects you to know the whole book including details, WORST COMMUNICATOR, can't pronounce or spell very distant, no curve, lab is ok, otherwise BOO i liked biology before her

worst teacher....EVER. I really mean that. this was by far the worst class i have ever taken in my life. the lectures and labs have nothing to do with the tests whatsoever. she has no idea what she is talking about and it is impossible to take in anything from the lecture.

Her lectures are hard to follow because she goes so fast and doesn't use aids. She give time for questions but you are so confused you cant even figure what to ask. Her tests suck but they are more fun if you go in a funny state of mind;-)

I HATE THIS CLASS. worst class ever, tests are impossible, be prepared to study forever and still fail, she flies through the lectures, tells us something, then realizes shes wrong, very confusing, BORING LABS, get a T/A for labs, but DON"T TAKE THIS CLASS unless you are prepared to fail. Super anal about time too.

Very unclear and also can be very disrespectful/snotty when asked questions. Doesn't seem to have the firmest grasp of all of the material, also constantly mispronouncing/spelling scientific terms. Looking forward to exams with dread; so far grading pretty tough.

she flys through lecture notes and it's impossible to keep up while writing...and the notes aren't online. she's kind of anal about being on time and being quiet and not packing up until it's time to leave. other than that so far, she's not a bad prof!

Almost everyone, including me, failed the tests. Class notes weren't on the tests, and most test questions were taken from the smallest,most insignificant points in the text. Get another professor or don't take the class.

She seems intelligent, but is unable to convery her ideas effectively. Her tests are poorly written and unclear, and often do not seem to be from either the lecture or the book. She tends to curve well because of the high number of failing scores. Get your extra credit when you can.
