Callaghan is great. Took her for fundamentals and FR1. You don't have to go to class. but she goes directly off of the powerpoint in class so skipping is a bad idea. You don't need to read the textbook to do well, just know her slides. She gives a ton of partial credit on tests and quizzes. Accounting is not easy, but Callaghan is your best option.

By far the worst professor I have had EVER! She is so rude and makes you feel stupid when you ask questions. Tests are designed to hurt you. Will have all work out problems over the same topic, so if you don't know it you will suffer tremendously. Barely lets you come visit her in her dungeon for office hours to seek help. Save yourself and AVOID!

Very intelligent professor. Knows a lot about what she teaches, but not very helpful or approachable. Treats you like you're unintelligent when you ask questions, and does not allow you to look over old tests. Also gave a very extensive exam two days after fall break. Expects a lot, (which isn't a bad thing), but all-around a tough professor.

It was a great experience to handle with a tough professor. She definitely likes to teach but doesn't care much about students. After taking exams in her class, you will be unable to study your exams again or even write some notes for later use. She is extremely crude to student and treats you like an idiot

The class is hard but i think callaghan is the best choice.she gives extra credit in the form of bonus quizzes.dont skip class and dont think you can get an 'a' w/o putting in the extra studying...its accounting, its not supposed to be easy.

She is prolly better than Cobb. Her teaching in class is good and she is very straightforward. In person, she sometimes talks to you like you are stupid and idiot. It is annoying but other times she is very nice. Her tests are easier than the homework but sometimes it can be very difficult to study for.

An extremely rude and not in anyways helpful teacher. Her first time teaching Intermediate Accounting and reallly treated you like you were an idiot. Perhaps different for tax, but a horrible finance teacher. Tests were HARD, final was ever harder. Grades were poor, her office hours were limited and she was so rude no one wanted to see her!

Class is really very easy, do the homework for your own benefit, study the powerpoints and homework for exams, and do well on the E.C. quizzes and you're set. Callaghan is a really good teacher and she is very fair to all of the students. If you can't handle tax, you should have been a comms major
