Tends to go on a lot random tangents about what he did over the weekend, or some crazy life story, but when he actually does teach, he is a very knowledgeable guy. There are only two midterms and a final, so there's not much room for failure. However, if you study your notes and go through the powerpoints, then you should be fine.

Instead of spending half of your lecture talking about what you did on your weekend or what you get for lunch every day at a restaurant near lincoln center maybe you should actually teach the class. worst class and professor ever. AVOID HIM LIKE THE PLAGUE! If i was to give a percentage of the class time devoted to material, i would give 20% max.

Prof Santangelo is a smart guy, but he was not helpful. He doesnt answer emails, and if you ask a question he is extremely condescending. During the final, many students asked him questions and he didnt even look up and just said "read the question." Class is pretty straight forward and not too difficult. If you do the hw, you'll get an A.

Really good professor. Not so much into mathematics as he is into reinforcing concepts with engaging examples. He wore a 3 piece suit to every class and used hilarious examples to illustrate each microeconomic topic.

Super Awesome guy. I had him for stats and all we talked about were movies and stories from his old jobs. He only gave us two grades. The midterm and the final. Both were easy and he will even way the one you got a better grade on more. HE HAS AN AWESOME BEARD. If you get him, you will have fun but may not learn everything.

Santangelo is a great guy, and definitely runs a funny/interesting class. I highly recommend him if you've taken a statistics course before and don't really care about learning the material, but even if you know nothing about Statistics it's still very doable if you do the hw (almost no one does).

Complete legend. If you want to learn, he gives you every opportunity to do so, teaching lessons very thoroughly and helpfully. If you don't want to learn, he's funny and attendance isn't mandatory. Literally the best class ever, it will appeal to everyone.

Did not give adequate preparation for the Midterm Exam. He gave a study sheet but it has nothing to do with what's on the midterm. He expects us to teach everything to ourselves. This isn't learning it is torture. I would rather be waterboarded than sit through another class. His beard is cool.

Class was interesting at first, but he just got tired of teaching it. He describes himself as very lazy-- didn't bother me until he failed to give us the study guide for the final until the day before. Grade is based solely off of midterm and final.

Extremely boring class. The miderm was super easy. No idea what I got on the final. I thought it was hard, but still got an A in the class. Did not really learn anything, but the class was an easy A.

Giacomo is just awesome. He's lively, funny, engaging, intelligent, and always has stellar clothing. There is no work in his class, just a midterm and a final, and attendance is not mandatory. I highly recommend him, he makes Micro very comprehensible and straightforward. I plan on taking him again any chance I can.

HIGHLY RECOMEND!!!STATS DECISION MAKING Santangelo is among my favorite professors here at Fordham. His cap't jack sparrow teaching style is quirky and entertaining. Its amazing how he took something as boring as statistics and made it interesting. HIGHLY RECOMEND!!! If you show up, he will teach you and you will EARN a great grade.
