Prof. Dickey is soo intriguing. Her intro class is not just a boring old lecture class, but relies on lots of discussion and challenges our previous impressions of everything around us. She is great at providing new perspectives.

She does not have a gender bias. I'm a dude and felt perfectly comfortable and respected. She does, however, have disdain for idiots, m or f.

The most helpful and clear professor at Bowdoin. Will do anything for her students. Her classes are some of the toughest at Bowdoin, and like many professors she doesn't always account for stuents having other classes to work at. A MUST TAKE.

Really knowledgeable, good lectures, interesting material...and she wasn't as hard as she led us to believe she'd be on the first day of class.

One of the most articulate, intelligent, kind and helpful teachers at Bowdoin. Very willing to meet outside of class AND office hours if need be. I took ANTH 101 with her last semester, and came back for more!
