Great lectures and presentations which made the concepts easier to grasp. If you read the book and review the presentations you will not have any issues in this class. Dr. Frederick was always available to answer any questions as well. Overall great class, would definitely recommend taking a course with Dr. Frederick if you have the chance.

She is not a bad teacher. I had a hybrid class with her, so I've seen her only ones a week. If you need help you can easyly find in the textbooks, you don't even need to ask her, but you can and will try to help you. Everything you need to do is a lot of assignments and tests in WebCT on time. So don't worry, you can take class with her ;-)

This teacher refuses to assist students with assignements, instead tells you to read the book. Last class I took with her she walked in and said she had never even used the program she was going to teach us. She uses power points to show key points about a topic but does not refer to where the core informaion is at in the book.

ONLINE CLASS=Extremely easy class. Do the projects & tutorials and take your time on the tests and you will definitely get an A! 40% of grade comes from 10 projects, which are not hard at all. Time consuming class but it is 100% easy to get an A if you just keep up! =)

If you have an issue with either the software (currently ALICE) or the textbook -you're out of luck. She does not read the book or use the software. Seriously, avoid this professor.

I am a straight A student and this class was no exception. No thanks to his horrible teacher. I've never had such an awful teacher. She knows nothing about programming. She couldn't even answer the questions from the tests. I think she may have spent 5 minutes actually teaching this semester and the rest was spent contradicting herself! Avoid her.

She is horrible!!! She would stay home teach online so she doesn’t have to interact with students. All she talks about in class most of the time is how she likes online classes vs. class room. She can’t keep track of questions you ask her online because of the number of classes she teaches. She is a waste of time and MONEY AVOID HER AT ALL COSTS

If you plan on taking her for programming save yourself the trouble and teach yourself. She constantly contradicts herself and NEVER answers your questions.The test questions are not from material you've covered. She has no control over anything. She doesn't tell you why you get the grades you did. She's a waste of money at SFCC.

Had her for DB Math and Database Management. She was very knowledgeable and a great professor. As long as you don't act like your 12 and your in high school you should love her. Awesome teacher. I went to the University of Florida after SFCC and she really prepared me for the classes that awaited. Thank you Sara, love ya.

Without any exaggeration at all, I actually went into a depression for a whole semester while taking her class. She's the worst teacher I've ever come in contat with in my entire life. Inconsistent, bossy, crabby and crazy! This is the kind of woman that has no friends because of her 0 social skills and walks her cat on a leash. Do not take!
