Comment:

There is absolutely no formatting to his notes and is extremely difficult to follow. Tests are simple and straightforward, and the class average is around 60. Homework takes about 10 hours if done correctly and is due one class after the next. Good luck if you take this class and expect to pass easily.

Comment:

Dr Zero-G, as he is known, gets too much of a bad rap I believe. He gives a ton of homework, but it prepares you for the tests really well. He can be hard to follow at times, but he will explain things if you actually ask a question. His grading is relative for exams, so if the highest was a 95, then there is a 5 point bonus.

Shows up 5 minutes late to class (9:00am) every day. Writes equations on the board and references variables by the letter rather than what they represent (i.e. "P" instead of Pressure") so in cases of Volume, specific volume, and velocity, it got very confusing. If you ask a question in class he tells you to read the book.

Very friendly guy. It was a straight forward class. The tests were just like the homework. Has a curve on the test if no one gets a 100. Only negative is that the homework is a lot, and the NASTRAN part is challenging. Otherwise an easy B. I strongly recommend.

The absolute worst for any class... He knows his stuff personally but cannot teach, cannot answer questions, and cannot manage his own time well at all. To this guy, students in his class are his LAST PRIORITY. Constantly tries to kick everyone out of his own office hours because "he has meetings" aparently... Terrible! Avoid at all costs!

Took him for Dynamics. Its gets really messy to understand his hand writing. If you start with a exmaple that involves a car, by the end, you wont be able to tell what it is. Also writes very small and its very hard to read his writing. He grades really easy on the tests though, there is also a relative curve. Get an easy A by paying attention

Awesome Prof for Fluids, very helpful during class and applied theory to practical things. Tests are a combination of old tests and questions from the book. So read the book and take notes and ask an Indian kid for old exam copies. Homework is too many questions but he dropped the lowest 2. Also replaced the lowest test with final.

It's all the project. If you do it and do it well, you'll be fine . Yes, it'll seem like he's tearing you apart at the presentation, but things'll work out fine. Just don't put off the presentation. I was done really early, but a lot of other people put it off and failed because of it.

Well i guess out of all the dynamics teacher so far he is the lesser evil. Very unorganized. Copies the solution manual on the board. If you ask a question that deviates from the solution manual then he gets annoyed cause he has no answer you just have to read the book and do his ungodly long homeworks and you will do okay in the test. he curves.

Took the class in Spring 08. His notes are quite straight forward but his homeworks are unnecessarily & ridiculously LONG! Very lenient grader & curves all exams & replaces lowest exam grade with your final grade. Exam problems are either homework or examples from the text book. Not much help in his office though. I recommend you take him!
