His Micro class is pretty tough and the majority of students in my class struggle with it. Try to review the basic concepts and you'll do decent on tests. He really does try to help you with curves and extra credit opportunities. He also roasts kids in a funny way. Smart guy.

Dr. Ghosh is a great guy. He was just too hard. I struggled and barely passed. I went to see him, when he got back from India, and he seemed very caring. He was too advanced for the intro level. Smart guy. He saw I was struggling, and I think he felt bad for me. I thought I failed, but skimmed by with a D+. Don't take online - very difficult.

worst teacher ever. makes you feel like you are inferior and lack intelligence. I have never struggled in a class as much as I am now. I've also never gotten below a C+ in a class but that is for sure going to change.

Very difficult class. Good teacher but the tests are impossible. For intermediate Micro and Macro there really aren't any better options all the teachers are very hard. Do everything you can to get 100s on the HW. He also doesn't curve your tests but his grading scale is curved. You need to put in a ton of work to do well.

I went in thinking an economics class would be easy but I'm finding it harder than my organic chemistry class. Great guy and genius level IQ but his tests are beyond impossible.

You'll learn about economics but he requires an outdated textbook that he doesn't even use so make sure you never miss any notes or your screwed. Tests all essay based with multiple parts that sometimes seem to come from left field and majority of class fails but it is possible to do well.If you can get a teacher with a more structured class,do it

Ghosh is probably my favorite teacher at the University, and definitely the hardest. In order to do well in his class you need to understand what he is saying in class first, and take notes second. Never doubt him, he is always right, and he will crush you for doubting him.

Dr. Ghosh̢۪s exams are difficult, class average was a D-. Doing the practice problems in the book will not help you very much. Take good notes in class and try to stay awake. He is really into college basketball and tells some corny jokes none of this will help your grade though.

The material is tough but he teaches it well.. make sure you study everything he goes over. (Take good notes) Know how to do the examples and beyond. Gives 3 tests all the same format but drops one and there's a final project. You're definitely going to be challenged but for what it's worth he's fair. He likes his students and offers EC sometimes.

The man speaks broken english with an accent and does not accept other views on economics at all... He is the head of the department so he thinks he knows everything and is in love with John Maynard Keans and Paul Krugman... he thinks every Austrian economist is dumb even Hayek. This class is making me drop my econ minor

Had him for Int Macro first. Tests are tough, but a very fair grader. Drops a test. Not easy by any means, but not impossible if you put the time in. He is a good guy, too. Will be taking him again next semester for Int Micro

In my opinion the best teacher in KSOM. He is pretty difficult but he grades fairly and has a good sense of humor. Most importantly the man will make sure you know your****. He is also someone with alot of business connections as he is the ECO/FIN chair, so try to get on his good side. My favorite teacher in Scranton, take him at least once!

HARD PROFESSOR who pushes you to the limit. You will be thankful for this at the end of the day. He also thinks he is funny, so it will give you something to get a kick out of during class as you sit there dazed and confused by his 600 dry-erase markers.
