Dr. Schmidt was the best professor I have ever had. This is a new course and I really enjoyed the material discussed and the structure of the class. If you do the readings and participate there is no reason you won't do well. Would love to take a class with him again- he is funny and actually cares about his students. Would highly recommend.

This is easily the most inspirational teacher I have ever had. I have taken courses at Fairfield, University of Pennsylvania and NCC... and have not found someone comparable. As for his course, it is relatively difficult. As long as you do the reading though you will be fine

Class based on participation, three quizzes and a final. I think other sections of ethics only have papers. Really need to do the readings to do well on the quizzes. Doesn't like it when you use class power points on the quizzes; you only really need the readings for the class but he randomly calls on people and expects people to be in class.

Cool guy, his class is never boring. He calls on people in class so you hafta do the readings. Attendance isn't mandatory but you can't miss too many. Gives two tests, two 1-page papers, a 10-page final paper, and a final.
