Comment:

The class itself is hard, but it's harder when the professor isn't as descriptive. Also if you need help or feel you won't do well in the class with in the first week or the first couple home works, I say speak up as soon as possible. Also, you can try to go to the math lab but the tutors are no help because there aren't any math 131 tutors.

You have to watch the lecture videos, but if you email him questions he is quick to answer and is easy to understand. He doesn't give time limits for anything other than practice tests and the work load is reasonable. I personally hate math, it is my worst subject but I was able to pass his class with an A. A good choice for online learning.

Amazing professor! I loved my experience with him. He is the best! make sure to take him, I took him for two classes in the same semester. Yes those two classes were very difficult but he was very helpful and respectful.

Professor Barnett is an awesome person. I had gorgeous experience with his class because he is so helpful with students and his teaching is perfect for gaining real knowledge in math. Truly, I wish if all my professors like him!!

never goes off topic from lectures. if your late or you have to walk out, he doesn't mind. everything is clear and he will let you drop very late in the semester if you have to. best math teacher at the whole school

He teaches fast but lays everything out so you can understand IF you're paying attention. He does examples from the book most class. Miss something? Ask and he'll take time to explain it to you. Lots of homework, but if you've taken notes and listened, you'll be good to go. Attendance not mandatory but miss a day and you'll have to catch up.

Honestly he's a great teacher for students who want to learn Math. If you don't understand a topic he will explain it in more than one way to help you. He is the kind of teacher that if you just study your notes and don't do practice problems you will hate, but if you practice at least 3 times a week his class will be that A/B on your transcript

made me hate math more then i already did.Teaches at a fast speed and is not very clear, steps and expects us to all know it after 1 class.His test cover too much material and are much harder then the homework, Test are also way to far apart.

Bad teacher, Teaches way too fast.My math lab has me clocked in at over 112 hours of usage time and i still did poorly in the class. TRUST ME DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS!!! Over 50 percent of the class dropped.
