Beyond boring. You need to go to class in order to get the material he thinks is important because he does not go straight from the book. You need to study for the test but they aren't terribly hard. Overall, blah class.

Easy A, especially if you're an Anth major. The tests are literally off the handouts he proveds, the only part is that you have to go to class to get the information to fill in. I've read a couple chapters of the book and material was straight out of the book too. Easy peasy, take it! & if you're an anth major talk to him, hes well respected.

I never opened the book because I was always busy reading for other classes, but I still got an A+. If you go to class everyday and take notes then go to the review sessions to extract what will actually be on the tests, you'll get an A+ - low effort. He is very knowledgeable/enthusiastic with field experience and I felt like I learned a lot!

This teacher was great all quarter. He doesn't use his texts very often, so attendance is mandatory, however if you go to all the classes and take notes it will be a breeze. Got an easy A in this, thanks for the GPA boost!

This professor is very enthusiastic about the things that he teaches, which makes the class all the more interesting. His class is fairly easy as long as you at tend class and take thorough notes using the outlines he gives you. But as a warning, it is a lot of information to memorize. Luckily, all his exams are not cumulative.

Easy class. I got a B. But that's cause I failed the first final..didn't study. But he gives you a term list, you just needa attend class to get the definitions and answers. Straightforward. 2 midterms, 1 final. Extra credit reading recommended for xtra credit questions on midterms.Helps a lot. The book doesn't make a difference. Semi interesting.

This class was extremely easy. Pay attention and you'll get an A. His exams are very straight forward and everything on the midterm will reflect what he said in class. There are some questions that will be based on the textbook but not enough to make it a huge difference on your exam score, and reading extra credit is definitely recommended.

The class is easy, i put minimal effort into this class and still got a C+. I did go to every single lecture but after MID 1 the lectures just got very tedious. You dont need the book but for the final I suggest you go to the review session. He gives you terms and concepts..use them for notes!

Easy class, Minimal amount of notes, he provides you with a list of terms and concepts in which you have to fill in the definition as he goes in lecture, that's it. The book is not needed at all. It may help you clarify stuff, but seriously you don't need it. If you need an easy class to take, take this one but don't expect total slack off either.

Fe**** is a joke. He's extremely arrogant, rude, and stuck up. This class was like middle school easy I dont understand the point of it. But he just stands up on the stage or the lecture hall and blabs for an hour and he stares at girls all the time. Creep but easy class.

Easy. Just go to lecture and take notes on the terms he provides. You don't have to write much. 2 midterms and a final. Book was not needed. Section requires a separate book filled with articles you do have to read for quizzes- 3 a week. Offers EC to raise you grade 1/3: from a B+ to A-.

This professor is really brilliant in his field. He is very difficult if you dont go to class but as long as you attend lecture and discussions regularly you will be fine. He is always willing to meet with you to help. Ive never had a prof that gave so much contact info. Anyone who fails or doesnt understand him shouldnt take an anthro class.

I have encountered many upper-division professors in my academic career, but this one takes the cake as one of the weirdest and worst. I'm not saying he's not smart, but he is a horrendous, horrible teacher. He seriously cannot teach. I've never been so bored in a class in all my life. He seemed like a****too he kept staring at me all the time.
