Comment:

Scott is a solid choice for Intro to Psych. His class is straight forward and not difficult whatsoever. A little monotone at times, however his lecturing really was very solid. He's worked hard to create lots of resources for his students, and if you have the need, using them can give you an A quite easily.

Comment:

This class is recommended for Sophomores. If I had taken this class sophomore year, I would have failed it. Freng's research methods is hard, you have to go to class everyday, read the book religiously, and write with an insanely high attention to detail. Be prepared to work your butt off.

His teaching method works pretty great and the explanations didnt put me to sleep even thoguh the subject material isnt that interesting to me. One of the best teachers I've ever had. He is super approachable and makes a point to create a connection with the students. If you show up and pay attention, you will do well in this class. You need to study well for the exams but they are extremely straight forward and everything is on the study guide. LOVED this class.

One of my favorites. Will drop one of the four tests he gives over the semester. This is extremely generous yet also fair as the final is pretty tough. He makes even the boring parts of intro psych interesting and easy to understand. Shows plenty of video clips in class which keeps things interesting and really adds to the lecture content.

He is one of my favorite professors. Reading is important. He drops your worst test. He has extra credit quiz questions you text answers to. If at the end of the class you have a B or A avg. on questions, you get extra credit. He changes his schedule to meet yours. He even offered to go over my review sheet to make sure I had everything. AMAZED!!!!

Though he looks like he's 18, you shouldn't be decieved. Definately one of the more interesting and pressing professors I've ever had. The one thing that makes him stand apart is his pedagogy in teaching. By the time you're done with the class you can't help but love the content.
