He's not easy not hard. The secret to passing his class is to do all the homework problems and study, study,study! The final was definitely harder than the midterm. his final was 50% of grade. His lectures were confusing he just starts without an intro and his r's look like pi's. He always responds to emails and always ask if we have any questions.

Final was nothing like the quizzes or book problems. Midterm was easy enough. Hard to follow in lecture, get lost easily if you're not listening closely. Try to do well on the final and you're golden.

Midterm's not too bad but the final's really difficult, mostly because the material's harder the second half of the quarter. His lectures are kind of confusing since he just jumps right into the subject. Ask questions!

The proof he did in class never makes senses. He needs a better management on white board space. When he explains things, just putting so many words together doesn't make students understand any thing. Last, don't ask too many questions like "any questions?", then ask " no questions?"

Class is very fast from day 1. If you wanna get a good grade your priority is: 1) Read all the book examples 2) Do the homework 3) Attend homewor [descending order]. Trust me all 2D professors are like him so you have no real alternatives... He also can't write or speak clearly.

For this class, extremely hard midterm; (avg 26/60) final was more reasonable to make up for midterm. goes very fast, tests you on most recent stuff, very hard hw. After curve, grades not so bad, but class is just hard.

Jumps right into the subject. Very fast in lectures. I gave up in lectures because it was more helpful to stay back and study on my own. Easy mid-term and easy quizzes. Final made me pray for a D. Tricks you throughout the quarter making you think you're gonna fail but ended with a B.Stay away!

Lectures are extremely fast. Theorems' proofs very hard to understand when he is proving them. HW challenging, exams also challenging. Not recommended as a first "proof" class. Need to study his "proofs" logic at home in order to do well.
