Comment:
While most English professors are some real ivory tower, stuffy nosed creatures, Lamascus was an exception to the rule. I actually learned a good deal in his class. While it may strike some that he goes a little overboard with excitment about literature, I think a professor should be that way.

Comment:
I took many English classes with Lamascus. He's a different guy, but a fairly good teacher. He's great at instilling an interest in the material, but a pushover when it comes to paper deadlines and grades. Thus, much of the burden for learning falls on the student's own interest.

Lamascus has no idea that not every student is an English major.

Scott marches to a different drum. Its a weird beat, doesnt sound like much, but in the end, its a decent tune. Pretty good guy across the board. Loves literature....almost to the point of too much....

Ineffectual excuse for an English Department chair. Easily manipulated by students and other professors, which makes him easy, but therefore has no real control or impact on the department.

One of the best teachers I've ever had. A bit confusing at first but eventually you'll get what he's pointing at.

He takes a while to grow on you; after a while you figure out that he's not as dumb as he first appears. He's a brillant man and a great teacher even though he disguises it well.
