Coach Rags made my freshman year awesome. I went in as an Information Systems major because I was scared of my programming ability. His class literally made me change my major to Software Development. He is super funny, incredibly helpful, great at explaining things, and easy to understand for all levels of programming ability. Take him!

I haven't been here long, but I can safely say Coach Rags is one of the best teachers at Harding. The pace of the class is a bit slow, but you will definitely know the material when it is test time. If you put effort into this class, it will be well worth your time.

No students left behind. Slower pace than Steil, but very thorough and knowledgeable. Very helpful with questions in the classroom and out. Side talking tends to persist on in the classroom. He invented a word in the 90's and he still says it everyday despite it's apparent failure to achieve widespread adoption. Great teacher overall! A++++

Best teacher I have ever had. Even though he has a strong southern accent, I still rated 5 for clarity because he makes sure to explain everything clearly. Overall, the class is pretty easy, and coach rags makes sure everybody in the class can succeed. Take it, and "you be going from SCUD to STUD!"
