Comment:
Wilkerson was a good professor. This is a very lecture heavy course, but Wilkerson is passionate about the topics and it shows, so class isn't terribly boring. His tests are extremely specific, but all the questions come straight from his power points, so if you study those then you should be fine. I would definitely take a class of his again.

Comment:
In class everything he teaches is very broad and general, but his tests are the exact opposite- he will mark you down unless you are extremely specific. He never provides examples which makes him extremely hard to learn from. Extremely hard grader!

Awful. Lectures are tear-jerkingly boring, tests are mind-blowingly detailed. If you ask him for help, he'll flat-out accuse you of not trying hard enough. I tried hard, but got a D on the 1st test, and after he said that to me when I came to his office for advice on how to do better, I burst into tears. I then dropped the class- phew!

Avoid his class. The tests he gives are the most difficult things I've ever had to do in any sort of level of education. His lectures are way too specific. He expects you to remember every detail. This was an intro level course. The level of difficulty is something I never could have imagined. Effort does not matter.

He's just not a good teacher. I took his seminar class, but it was just a really unpleasant class. He's a very harsh grader, he gives the tests from hell, and doesn't believe in a curve. His lectures are boring, and he expects you to remember EVERYTHING. I advise taking a tape recorder or something.
