Very entertaining and informational lectures. You can probably get by without reading the book since quizzes are usually easy to guess on and exams are based only upon lectures. Every exam is purely T/F.

He tells hilarious stories to back up the point hes trying to get across. Very entertaining. The only grades are exams so study hard, but they are only true and false so they are not that bad.

Attendance is taken and quizzes are given every lecture. Reading is little hard, but his lectures are great and full of real life stories that make it applicable and funny. Caring too if you need any help.

He's awesome! Makes the material really interesting and easy to follow! The course is very lecture heavy. Like if you miss one class, you miss a good chunk of information. Grade is determined by three exams and attendance. So not a whole lot of room for improvement.

Gothard is amazing. For starters, he DOESN'T GIVE QUIZZES ANYMORE in the class. Yes, that does mean 90% of your grade is exams, but if you take adequate notes in class, you will do fantastic on the exams. He's hilarious and dedicates his class time to making sure we understand the material. Yes all exams are T/F, but he gives you tips on success.

I really do enjoy this class and professor. However exams and quizes are quite hard and he does lots of t/f questions. He gives great stories from when he was a lawyer and seems to care for his students.

A fun and charismatic teacher that makes class very interesting! Must go to class and take notes for exam. Quizzes require some reading, but exams are pretty easy if you pay attention in class and take notes. I wish I could just sit in his lectures for the laughs!

He gives daily attendance quizzes or chapter quizzes. If you go to class you don't have to study for the exams. The chapter quizzes are from the book, but the exams are only over info he talked about in class. I didn't buy the book so I had to use educated guessing on the quizzes but I ended up with a B.

All Gothard does is tell stories and he expects you to be able to pull minor details from those stories for exam questions. If you don't take good notes in class everyday you are screwed. No online notes or lectures you get one shot to write most things down. The exams are brutal 50 to 100 true false questions most of which are trying to trick you.

Just finished this course, my god the amount of reading required for the quizzes is ungodly. This is a 'difficult' class IF you don't study with peers or look online for any quiz questions. Otherwise, it's an easy B. If you want an A, you better be very very detail oriented about his exams and quiz questions.

Dr. Gothard is an awesome professor. I really enjoyed all of the cases that he spoke about in class. Though, his exams may be tricky, I think that his class is worth taking. Also, the final is a little tricky as well. I truly enjoyed his class & would take another with him. He reminds me of a "grandpa" or Professor Dumbledore. LOL. Take his class!

Awful, doesn't explain and doesn't have office hours, doesn't reply to emails, boring. his questions are so picky, he will change something so tiny and then try and catch you on it. on a 100 question on one question he will change something from 8 years to 7 years and catch you because you missed one thing

He is an AWESOME teacher! I love going to his class. He tells a lot of stories, but that helps you remember the concepts he is talking about. His exams are 50 questions True/False, which sucks, but if you go to pay attention in class and take notes you will do fine.
