Wouldn't want to have learned German from anyone else. Great Professor and cares deeply about the subject matter and the students. Incredibly intelligent and is always willing to help students outside of class. Helped me tremendously in study abroad logistics and helping me find a program. I would take this class just for him.

Quite frankly the best professor I've had at Elon. I took this class during Winter Term and it's astonishing to me how much information one can learn in a short period of time. His lectures are incredibly insightful. He truly wants you to learn and will go out of his way to do it. Other professors should take notes from this guy.

So far I am loving this class. While it is a lot of class discussion, it opens up your eyes to different topics you never really put mind to. His feedback has helped me improve my writing. My only problem is the semester paper that holds 65% of your grade but if you ask for help, he's more than willing to do it. Very friendly and funny guy.

Windham is fantastic, easily my favorite professor/teacher I've ever had. I worked with him outside of class and he's really made me love German and motivated me to succeed at an incredible level.

Dr. Windham makes class fun while actually teaching. A lot of group work in class, but it's mainly just talking in groups to actually speak in german. The class is challenging but great!! I would definitely recommend it.

I had him for global, and he is one of the best teachers I've ever had. There is a lot of work for his class, you have to blog/journal for almost every class, but you learn a lot. I think it is a lot more interesting than other global classes. I also just want to be his friend. He really cares about his students and wants them to do well.

One of the best teachers ever. Very patient and very willing to help. Focuses on getting the material across rather than grades, so if you do the work, he'll give you a good grade. Really hard to get an A, though. Definitely take him if you want to learn German.
