I took non-major piano lessons with him, and I loved him! Very personable, and is willing to let you play what you are interested in, instead of randomly assigning things you will not enjoy. He's a great pianist, and gives good tips for bettering your musicianship!

Wonderful pianist who inspired me to practice. Nice guy who takes his job seriously and makes sure his students know about all of the resources available to them. Wonderful analyst about technique and gave useful suggestions. Very approachable. I hope to continue to study with him.

I think it would be easier to write something if he would have showed up to half of my lessons. He seems like a nice enough guy but he spreads himself too thin. If you actually want to grow in your piano skills then take from someone else.
