I believe that Professor O'Leary is a decent teacher who had gone out of his way many times to either answer my endless questions or to refer me to someone else. He was also a bit evasive to me b/c of an incident with me and another student at Rowan.

He is a very nice guy, however, he really does not help students if they have problems with filming or anything else. He kind of breezes by everything, including the camera itself and other important terms. Makes no time for people to edit or upload multimedia. Quizzes are on blackboard, so you can use your notes, so that's a plus.

I'm suprised at some of the comments. O'Leary's a great professor. His exams can be hard (25 fill in the blank with no word bank) but they do get easier since it's cumulative (trust me on this one unless you NEVER pay attention) He's always helpful too so what the other posts said is ****.

Good guy, but works at his own pace. Do not depend on him to get things done on a deadline if you need it. Knows how to help you and has a lot of guidance to offer. Expect his new Film 1 classes to learn a lot.
