Professor Mallios is an amazing teacher and lecturer! Don't take this class if you can't stand powerpoints or lectures, but he makes it really fun and interesting. He focuses a lot on his own textbook so be sure to read it and attend class or you'll miss important notes. The tests are detailed and intensive so don't take if you plan to slack off.

Prof Mallios is very passionate and his lectures were always interesting. You can get away without reading the books he assigns since he goes over them in class, but the readings from Hail Montezuma are necessary. I attended every lecture and studied a lot from the practice tests and Hail Montezuma and barely got an A-. Not an easy A.

Great professor! I could tell he was very passionate about teaching and the course was very interesting. The class really changed the way I think about certain things and how I view different cultures. The practice tests are very similar to the tests which makes it easy to study for. Not an easy A but not a hard class at all and no homework.

You will want to go to every lecture! He is entertaining and upbeat about the subject. He's an amazing and caring teacher. He wants you to learn and succeed. You do have to put work into it, but it is well worth it. The end of the semester scavenger hunt (we were guinea pigs) was so much fun around SDSU campus. TAKE THIS TEACHER!!!!

Attendance isn't required, but I thought it was helpful (especially for the final, which is all essay based). The class is very easy, as long as you go over the study guides & read Hail Montezuma (all other readings are covered in class).

Professor Mallios is a great lecturer and an interesting person. However, your grade really depends on the TA. Stick to the study guides and you'll get an easy C on the 3 tests, however there is lecture material on the test that is not on the study guides so go to class and you'll get an A. Don't worry about the readings, they're covered in lecture

He gives you 4 tests, one of which is the final, which he gives you the questions to in the syllabus. The first three are online, which is also very helpful. However, he asks a LOT of questions about HIS OWN book that are not online. You really have to read AND STUDY his book. There are so many details that you have to remember. Dis tew much.

Mallios has given me life lessons, the class was more than a grade itself. Although I didn't receive the grade I wanted, the class changed the way I think... Tests are already online, but the TA expected very detailed answers on the short answers so be prepared. Also, read the Hail Montezuma! book, it taught me a lot about SDSU.

He posts lectures online but to be honest, it's a lot better idea to go into class cuz otherwise you won't really get it. Do the study guides, they're pretty much identical to the test. Most of the reading you can get away with not doing EXCEPT Hail Montezuma. Mallios is hilarious and a crazy smart guy and a great professor, topic was interesting

He's a great professor but the class was kinda difficult. He puts practice tests online and they are almost identical to the actual tests so if you study those and read his book then you'll do fine. I enjoyed his lectures, they were never boring and he's a pretty funny guy. this class was really interesting! and all the lectures are online!

seth is the coolest proffessor i've had and although i wouldn't say his class is an easy a, I got a B and never read a single book and went to about 4/5 of the classes. so if you read and go to class you should get an a with no trouble

One of the coolest professors at SDSU. His class was really easy. I didn't do anything but study off the practice tests and still got a B. It helps to go to class if you want a better grade but you really don't have to. You don't have to do the readings because he covers it in the power points. Overall, easy A/B depending how hard you study.

Anthro 102 with Professor Mallios is great! You should definitely take his class if you're looking to knock out some GEs classes. All of his exams are on blackboard- so you just have to study the before the exam and you're golden! Lectures are also interesting!
