very hard... he assumed we had a lot of detailed background knowledge about judaism that most people lacked... he isnt very helpful explaining stuff either. he would be a good teacher for a very high level rlst class or if youre a grad student writing your thesis or something but not other than that

Amazing professor! Classes are tough and there is a lot of reading, so if you don't want to learn or want a fluff class, go somewhere else. Engaging lecturer and a genius. Best class I have taken at Vandy!

Evol of Rel & Sci is an AWFUL clas - do NOT under AND circumstances take this class. Or for that matter - this professor. He is EXTREMELY snobbish and does not elaborate when a question is asked (as in he dismisses half of them with a half-assed answer)

Tons of reading a night, and jumps around a lot in class. Very enthusiastic about what he's teaching though and a total hottie...I wouldn't take him again though, it's just not worth damaging my GPA again.

He says come in with a strong religion and science background but what he means is know everything about the bible and we'll learn the little bit of science you need to know in the course. Also, totally unsympathetic if there is a death in your family!
