Comment:

Class is pretty boring with an average of 40 powerpoint slides per lecture. The material gets monotonous, and Prof. Cohen speaks in a very monotone voice. Java labs are almost pointless. Prof. Cohen is a very nice guy though, and does grade pretty fairly. Just make sure your term project is sensible and completable - AND you get a good group!

The most pointless class I have ever taken. He must have realized his subject was BS so he took it upon himself to re-teach us basic java programming. WORST CLASS AND PROFESSOR I HAVE EVER HAD!!

Only professor I ever had who actually fell asleep during a class he was teaching. That was five years ago and I still remember it today. He turned on an automated powerpoint show and fell asleep.

Professor Cohen is terrible. He's classes are boring, worthless. His explanation skills are extremely poor. Does not prepare for his lectures. Gives confusing assignments. Java exam is entirely nitpicking. Easy class but impossible to study for.
