he's so enthusiastic about the Lord! and instead of just teaching, i think it's awesome that he tries to give us advice and guidance and whatnot. he's also very caring. he lacks a bit in the teaching aspect but overall, he's great

There were no guidelines! Nothing! Not everyone in the class got to preach and there were days where he said the same stuff he said the day before. Great man of God. Heart of Gold. But lacks organization. Who's ever heard of a rhote memorization test in college. lists are out.

i enjoyed this class. there were days when i wanted to drop it, but i knew i'd have to take it eventually. i was glad that i stuck it out and finsihed it though. i learned a lot about myself and my faith. i felt comfortable to talk about my doubts and limitations, and that helped.

Johnson is waaaaay conservative and charasmatic. He doesn't let us discuss what WE want to get out of the readings, which is something I need in order to learn. Also, his quizzes pick the most random quote and expect us to know who said it. HOW does that impact our ethical decisions? It doesn't. Boo

Shane Johnson has a funky beat, and you can dance to him. His class is easy as anything, you'll learn a few things, but it's very run of the mill. It's not like a Shane Johnson class will change your life.
