Skipped Bus Calc 1 and jumped straight into Bus Calc 2 after no math for 6 years. STEEP learning curve for me, but Prof Cornell was there for me. I almost dropped at midterm, but she encouraged me to stick it out. I lived at the math lab and began to comprehend material. She responds to emails promptly and gives good feedback. Very caring.

Mrs. Cornell offers some of the best math lectures I have ever experienced. Her organization of her curriculum is unparalleled and she will answer any question you ever have. The thing that stands out the most is her passion for the material, which adds so much to the experience. She's the type of instructor you want to teach all your Math courses.

Super smart, super detailed and puts numbers in real life examples, study and stay organized bc she's a no excuses type of person. (Don't expect to be coddled in any way) I would have put 5 for clarity but the class is so fast, I can't keep up and there is 0-5 minutes of question time. I will prob take her class again for upper level math classes.

If you put forth the effort, you will be rewarded. Test material can be difficult, some problems are not covered in depth during class. If you ask for clarification you will get it. She gives lots of partial credit. Online homework is more difficult than lab paperwork problems. She uses extremely difficult problems for a reason, enhances your skill

I am in Mrs. Cornell's Contemporary Math class. She is a great teacher, and I am glad I chose this class over Algebra. She always gives an opportunity for extra credit, which is very very helpful. I highly recommend her for Contemporary Math.

Very good explainations, straight out of the book. Helps prepare for tests. Very unforgiving on grades. Had a 79.3 average, would not work with me on extra credit assignments to bump grade up to a B. Beware. Other than that, a nice person.

This was excellent. Shannon is great. She makes the class interesting. Personality wise you couldn't get better. The material was a pain at times but she helps you get through it. I would recommend her for anyone wanting to learn. She gets A's for sure.
