Made class fun and interesting. Prepared labs for us that didn't "spoon-feed" like cisco lab book and they were more similiar to the actual mid-term and final skills. I would take another class that had him as an instructor.

Tom did a great job, since for semester 1, he doesn't really have much to work with, and I actually came out of the class knowing more than when I went in, instead of just learning things for the tests and then forgetting it, he has a way of making things stick, one of the best teachers I've met, not to mention a damn cool guy to just to talk to.

Tom makes sure we all understand before he moves on to new stuff, but paces us so we still get everything covered. He makes his own labs sometimes, and they are better than Cisco's! I wish the school would wise up and hire himm full-time! He's great.
