This is the professor you want to have for all your science majors. She taught the material and you can actually understand it. She was totally nice. I wish I could have her for Chem 110 but sadly my spring semester she doesn't teach it. She is lovely and funny. I thought it was hard but its not. All you have to do is want to learn youll get it.

Great professor, typical lecture with note taking GO TO THE CLC it saves lives if you're lost, before I went to tutoring I was getting 60s and 70s on quizzes, then went and got 90s-100s on test and quizzes, discussion is used for worksheets, she goes around and helps as well as tutors are there with her while lecture and discussion to help

Lectures were scattered and not very clear. Looking back on my notes didn't make sense because the material was covered in such an unorganized way. Most notes didn't even make sense. Grading took forever and there were usually errors when we got tests back. She didn't demand attention, so people would talk during the entire class.

Took Chem a second time around and actually wish I had Sharon the first time I took the course. She's very friendly and considerate with her lectures which can be hard to do with stadium classes filled with 130+ people. Take good notes in class and make sure you stay on top of weekly quizzes too, not just exams.

Sharon was great. I took three years off after high school, and went into Chem 109 when I started college. She made everything easy to understand and clearly knows what she's doing. Several times I emailed her outside of class time (weekends and holidays) and she replied quickly. She was great!

Sharon is an amazing chemistry teacher; probably the best I have ever had. She cares about every single student and gets to know their strengths and weaknesses. She will approach you personally to help you with things you are struggling with. Her lectures are taken slow and are easy to understand even when the material can be difficult.

She is such a nice professor and there for help. She isn't strict on having to attend a different lecture. Her CHEM 109 class is a great transition into college because it is not too hard, but a lot is expected of you. An important tip: STUDYYYY!!! (especially for the finals)

She's a really kind lady. When I couldn't make one class, she let me take a later class period. Even though she collected homework she would always grade mine separately so that I could have a grade in it. If you go up and talk to her about homework, tests, and quizzes, she will know your name. During discussion, she walks around and helps students

Sharon is great. Her lectures are presented in a very clear and approachable manner. She really cares about the subject, and honestly wants everyone to succeed. The class is huge, but she remembers names. Expect to go to class, take notes, and do work! Do not expect an easy class to fulfill a GE. Highly recommend.

Sharon does a great job of explaining things thoroughly and giving enough time outside of class for help. If you want an A in this class, definitely go to the extra review sessions before the exams and she will spend one-on-one time with you if you need it. I hated chem in high school and here it was much clearer to me because of her.
