This teacher probably never taught in a public school a day in her life. Very unclear to what assignment is all about. Tests are very hard. Wants you to stay in class the whole time doing group work and reciting books. 2 CA's 3 tests which are so hard, and she will single you out if you dont pay attention and bully you.

Dr. Crawley is a fantastic professor. She loves reading and shares her love of it with her class. Now if you think that books are boring, you will find her class boring, but most people on this site were wrong. She is very nice, caring, and wants you to succeed. But good grades are not handed out, they are earned! I loved this class and her!

There are 2 CA's. She gives detailed instruction and templates to follow. Be thorough. She's not that hard of a grader,I did my assignments the night before. She tries giving answers on her tests.The Midterm and final are online. Come to class, act interested and don't be on your phone!I usually get B's and she gave me an A. I would take her again.

She's so boring. The class is pointless. The assignments are long, and she grades pretty hard. Make sure you start the two CAs ASAP. Go to class and do your homework in it. She's pretty mean, but try to just avoid talking to her.

AWFUL! This class was terrible. She read childrens books to us every class for at least 45 minutes. SHe was extremely rude and belittling. She didn't explain the assignments and bc of that, the majority of the class failed the second CA. BEWARE!

I am an A student and still got an A in this class, but it was one of the hardest classes I have ever taken. Useful information, however, I felt like she was annoyed with questions (even though I ask very little). All in all, if you can take someone else do it. If you do end up with her, it isn't the worst. Just be prepared to work hard.

She really wasn't that bad. Ok, maybe a little boring, but she did explain everything and gives examples of good and bad CA's. Go to her class, pay attention, do the reading, and put a good amount of effort into CA's and you will do fine. She wants professionalism from her students so that we will be professional educators.

Okay she is not that bad. I was afraid to take her class after reading all the comments but she really is okay. I had her for reading 2 and we had two big assignments and that was it. Always sit up front and always be early and she will appreciate that

Would not recommend her for this class, get Lori Dassa. Had to take this class twice b/c of her. The same CA I submitted to her she failed me, and submitted the same to Dassa and received an A. Not a effective teacher. She helps who she wants to. She has favorite. Talks to much. This class can be fun if you take Dassa. Avoid if you can.

I cannot believe the rude comments towards Dr. Crawley. She not only advises at FAU, but she is an extremely effective educator. The people that do not agree probably expect to be babied by her. This is college, you get what you put into your work. She only has 2 major CA's, it's very easy if you follow directions. I would take her again.

I didnt believe it when pep said to RUN & not take this womans class. I always believe whatever effort u put in u get back. Since I am an A student.Thats NOT the case here.DO NOT TAKE HER! She doesnt explain ne assignments & when u ask q's she makes it seem as if u r wrong or stupid 4 asking them when she NEVER explains ne of the assignments.

Very boring. Treats college students like elementary school students. Constantly walk out of class during a lull in lecture, for 10-15 minutes at a time. Very strict on attendance, one minute late is late. I didn't glean much from the class at all.

horrible professor. I had to take her twice. I cringed at the fact that i had to take her again the second time. Very unclear and is not willing to help you succeed. Wasn't even will to budge to give me 2 measly points to get a c in the class instead she just gives me a c- and makes me take the class over. I advise try to avoid at all cost.

Please do not take her. She is unclear when it comes to assignments and makes you feel bad about yourself when you don't understand an assignment. She reads from the powerpoint slides and seems to fall asleep herself during lectures. NEVER lets you out early. Save yourself... do not take her. Her class is a waste of your money. :(

DO NOT TAKE! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!I was warned but her's was the only class this term. I HAD a 4.0 so it's not like I don't like to work. She gave me a B. SHE IS VERY UNCLEAR, until AFTER you turn in the paper. If you ask her to clarify, she acts like you should know. If you want to see modeling of how NOT to teach, take Crawley's class.
