REALLY GREAT INSTRUCTOR! She was clear on her expectations, did not overwhelm with the assignments and reviewed them before they were due. We did use the books, but it involved more group work. Would love to take her for ETP2, but she doens't teach it as a separate class. One of the few classes, and professors, I've enjoyed at FAU. No complaints :)

First and foremost, I don't know who said she doesn't have experience in the classroom because she has been teaching for a very long time. I took her in spring 2011 and loved it. ETP 1 in general is a lot of work. You have to do 90 hours no matter what. She gives a lot of useful information and is extremely helpful.GREAT TEACHER!

Best class I've taken in a long time. WARNING! While I learned a lot don't take this class if you don't intend to work! I feel that after taking this class with Cornett I will be fully prepared for ETP2. She knows what's up with teaching because she does it every day. Awesome teacher!

AMAZING! she's extremely helpful and very clear about what she expects. not a hard grader. brings candy to class. won't let you stress about coursework. class is interactive rather than lecture. BEST prof/class i have taken at fau.

Professor Cornett is fantastic! She explains assignments clearly and understands what it is like working in the district (she is a reading resource teacher). She explains how to write our Portfolio Entry Forms as well as all assignments. Take her class! It is fun and meaningful!!!

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME! At first she is intimidating but as the semester goes by you will notice how cool and easy she is. She doesn't give any test and you don't need the books. Its recommended to buy them b/c you need it for ETPII. Portfolio evidence forms may be confusing but after a couple of times you will do GREAT! PLEASEEEE take her

great professor. pretty strict but very clear on what she wants. does much hads on which makes the class interesting. the class is overwhelming but she is a terrific professor. very professional and straight to the point. you do have to really work hard to get a good grade in there but she helps you all along. definitelt reccomed taking her.

Great teacher, she made the class enjoyable. There is a lot of work, but she makes the class fun, take her if you can.. The best teacher for ETP, I wish she taught ETP II, but unfortunately, you are forced to take someone else, who is less enjoyable......

Helpful,clear,nice & funny. That being said a lot of typing,indexing etc... Paperwork can be huge but it is for teachers which we aspire to be.I'd like her for ETP 2 if I could.
