I can't explain how amazing she is- I felt so welcomed. She gets to know every student's name, and is genuinely so kind to every student. I felt comfortable with her and she is easy to approach.

My favorite professor at Centralia. She is amazing, and gets what needs to be taught taught without stressing you out with a bunch of assignments. She is very entertaining, and gives great lectures. She's also knowledgeable of a wide variety of topics, ranging from philosophy to English to film. Take her at least once when attending Centralia!

Comment:

Wonderful professor. One of my favorites from my two years spent here. She made class fun, and she gave me a new outlook on plenty of the topics discussed. Discussion-heavy classes, maybe one or two lectures. My only complaint is I really did not understand what she expected with essays, and they were hard to write.

Professor Mitchler is a great teacher. She is very easy. She has writing prompts every morning that are worth 20 points. You cannot make them up if you're late to class or did not show up (They are easy points) She assigns essays but gives you two weeks to finish them. You can also schedule a time to visit her at her officer for addition help.

She was so helpful with everything. You need to attend class for participation points. Otherwise as long as you look at the rubric and listen to want she wants, it's easy. Just open the book, find a passage, and write about it... pretty much a guaranteed 100%. She also tells very interesting stories.

I took Humanities 110 and 118 from Sharon because I LOVED her classes. She is an amazing professor and every day was so much fun to learn. 110 is a lot of critical thinking. 118 is a lot of art analysis and we watched quite a few films. Such a great prof everyone should take this series just because!

She is so smart and so helpful! I have learned so much about writing an awesome paper -- I thought I was a good writer, and I have only gotten better at arguing and analyzing papers. Take this class from her if you possibly can -- very clear, friendly, and hysterically funny.

Ms Mitchler is the best teacher at CC! Her class was so much fun. I would recomend this class to anyone! I didn't think I would like to read all these american writers, but she made class so interesting! My class was 2.5 hours and it went by SO fast! Definetly take her for any class if you can! Also, film studies is a very intersting class, all you do is watch movies and take quizzes!
