If anyone on earth can understand the concepts that she poorly attempts to express then make a religion after them because nobody can. This woman singlehandedly keeps the tutors busy with people coming in. She teaches like the students are 1st graders who already know this. Id rather pilot a space ship I build than let her teach a class ever again

Dont take Sullivan very bad decision on my part. You will stress every day of the week and no matter how much time you spend studying or practicing she will not care. I go to math center every day and when they help me and say she is wrong she gets mad at me for telling her there is something wrong. SO DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS.

Let's be honest, calculus isn't exactly easy no matter who teaches it. I got a decent grade in the class, and to be honest, I could have done better. Miss class? Catch up is hard. I had to go to her office more times than I have with all my previous professors combined. I personally like her. She's different, but she is willing to help.

Very impersonal, very bland, and very unoriginal. Seems uninterested in teaching students for a "core" class. Does the bare minimum when it comes to providing help and will sometimes refuse to answer questions even if you are making the effort. Made me less willing to earn my grade. Takes herself too seriously.

Moves VERY fast, and doesn't stop to explain things in layman's terms if you're confused. Cut class short several times because one or two students weren't paying attention. Frequently gets an attitude with students if they frustrate her, ie she once rushed through a test review as fast as possible without explaining things the day before an exam.

This class is EXTREMELY difficult.I would spend 8+ hours studying for a test and the best grade I ever made was a 52.I couldn't find a tutor and every time I went to her office she confused me more. She moves too quickly and skips steps assuming you know what to do. Her projects are long and difficult.Take another professor or another math.

Dr. Sullivan is very helpful as long as she senses you want to succeed. She realizes that math isn't everyone's favorite subject, but as long as she perceives that you care (i.e., show up to class, take notes, do homework) she will always be understanding and helpful.

She is the worst teacher I've ever had in my whole life. She never wanted to help anyone and she always kept an attitude. I advise you to never take her class if you want to keep your sanity.
